🚚 Delivery & Fulfillment Policy

At Emicakes, we are committed to delivering our handcrafted cakes in peak condition. To ensure a seamless experience, please review our fulfillment guidelines below.

🕒 Order Lead Time & Amendments

  • 3-Day Rule: All orders (Delivery or Self-Collection) require a minimum of 3 working days in advance.
  • Changes: Any amendments to your order (date, time, address, or message) must be made at least 3 working days before the fulfillment date.
  • Late Changes: Amendments requested within 3 days of fulfillment may incur a $10 administrative fee and are subject to production availability.

Note: Deliveries are available daily, including weekends and public holidays.

⚠️ Delivery Exceptions & Logistics

  • Redirected Deliveries: Need to change the delivery address at the last minute? A $30 redirection fee will apply, subject to driver availability.
  • Unsuccessful Deliveries: Our drivers will wait for a maximum of 10 minutes. If we are unable to complete the delivery:
    • Your order will be sent to the nearest Emicakes outlet for self-collection.
    • Re-delivery can be arranged for a $30 fee.
  • Unforeseen Delays: While we aim for 100% punctuality, Emicakes is not liable for delays caused by bad weather, heavy traffic, or unexpected road events.
  • Special Instructions: Please provide specific directions (e.g., unit number, drop-off points) at checkout to assist our drivers.

🗺️ Area Restrictions & Surcharges

1. Non-Serviceable Zones (No Delivery)

We do not deliver to high-security or restricted-access locations, including:

  • Changi Airport (including cargo areas) and PSA Vicinity.
  • Sentosa Island Attractions (Hotels, Theme Parks, RWS).
  • Jurong Island and Marina Bay Sands.
  • Hospitals, Military Camps, and Airbases.
  • Public Parks & Beaches (East Coast, Pasir Ris, Punggol, Labrador).

2. Remote Area Surcharge ($30)

A $30 surcharge applies to Tuas, Selected Jurong Industrial areas, and Sentosa Residential/Quayside Isle. Please note: Free delivery (Orders >$100) does not apply to this location surcharge.

Reservation of Rights: Restricted & Remote Zones Emicakes reserves the right to review and verify all delivery addresses after an order is placed. In the event that an order is successfully processed for a Restricted Zone (No-Delivery) or a Remote Zone (Surcharge applicable) due to technical error or incorrect address entry:

  1. Remote Zones: We reserve the right to contact the customer to request the mandatory $30 surcharge top-up before fulfillment.
  2. Restricted Zones: We reserve the right to request an alternative delivery address (Mainland) or cancel the order with a full refund if the location is strictly non-serviceable.

Fulfillment of the order is subject to the settlement of any outstanding surcharges.

🎊 Festive Period Deliveries

During peak seasons—including Chinese New Year (13–19 Feb 2026), Mother’s Day (8–10 May 2026), Mid-Autumn Festival, and Christmas (22–25 Dec 2026) —all deliveries will take place anytime between 9 am – 6 pm to accommodate high volume. Specific time-slot requests may be suspended during these periods.
